RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a meeting with Sardor Umurzakov, Uzbekistan deputy premier, minister of investment and foreign trade, and other top officials. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in different fields.
The leaders also reviewed regional and international developments of common interest.
In January, a high-level Saudi delegation led by Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih visited Uzbekistan to sign deals on a number of joint projects in different sectors. Uzbekistan’s business environment is witnessing an increase in investment opportunities in the fields of energy, food industries, building materials, mining, electronics, information technology, agriculture and others.
